BERLIN, Feb. 9 (UPI) — U.S. actor Shia LaBeouf stormed out of a Berlin news conference Sunday for Lars von Trier’s “Nymphomaniac” after answering only one question, witnesses said.
LaBeouf was asked his first question — about acting in a movie with so many sex scenes — about 10 minutes into the news conference, the Hollywood Reporter said.
“When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much,” he said before leaving.
His answer is a quote from the “Looking for Eric” film in which soccer legend Eric Cantona makes the seagulls statement at a press conference.
On Saturday night, LaBeouf lunged at three young men who tried to snap his picture at the lounge at the Ritz-Carlton, the report said.
Several friends intervened to stop LaBeouf, who was in Berlin for the premier of “Nymphomaniac: Part 1,” the report said.
LaBeouf also got in a fight at a London bar last month, the Reporter said.
