Make sure that you tell your family or your significant other not to disturb you for a good half an hour, and then just sit back, soak, and relax.

One of the most popular activities for a Sunday evening, what could be better than watching a bit of comfort TV before you head off to bed? For optimal relaxation, don’t choose a complex film or start a new series that will ultimately keep you up all night; instead, find something easy to watch, such as an antique show that unearth antique treasures on TV. These can let your mind wander to less stressful thoughts, and there are plenty to choose from.

Although this is not for everyone, writing in a journal can be incredibly therapeutic and can help alleviate any stress that you are feeling about returning to work.
Some people like to write down things that they are grateful for, whereas others simply jot down what they have been doing that day. If you struggle to sleep on a Sunday night because you are worried about all the tasks you have to complete the next day, then a journal can help you to process these feelings.
4. Practice meditation
Meditation provides a great way to relax and unwind, making it the perfect activity for Sunday evenings. You do not need any specialist equipment or know-how to practice meditation, as there are lots of online tutorials that are aimed at beginners.
As well as reducing stress and anxiety, regular meditation can also help to focus your mind, helping to prepare you for the working week ahead.
5. Use essential oils
If you love a bit of self-care, then essential oils should be part of your Sunday evening routine. There are lots of different essential oils for you to choose from, some of which aid sleep, some which bring comfort, and others that help to alleviate stress.
