A$AP’s trial date in Sweden is yet to be announced

A$AP Rocky was arrested on July 3 with assault charges in Sweden and it is learned he will remain in custody until the trial, said office of the prosecutor.

The 30-year-old American citizen was detained along with two members in connection to a physical fight on June 30 in Stockholm.

Date of trial is yet to be declared but the arrest has become an international incident after President Trump got involved in it.

Trump said Sweden is a great country and he will be talking to the leadership there.

The president added, “I have been called by so many people asking me to help A$AP Rocky… Actually the one who knew about A$AP Rocky was our first lady, right? She was telling me about can you help A$AP Rocky?”

Public prosecutor said, “I have today commenced criminal proceedings against the three individuals suspected of assault causing actual bodily harm, having come to the conclusion that the events in question constitute a crime despite claims of self-defence and provocation.”

Sweden is one such country that does not operate a bail system.

Similar to Trump, reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband Kanye West too got involved in the issue.

Kanye West said, “This is the sad truth…The difference between me and Rocky’s treatment and process in Sweden brings to mind two concepts that disgustingly go hand in hand: white privilege and systemic racism.”
