The Angry Birds Movie is to hit cinemas on May 13 and expectations are as high as the success of the game that was developed by Rovio, a Finnish company, way back in 2009 for the smartphones to control a catapult by a touchscreen.
2009 was the year of Swine flu news and so the enemies in the game were pigs and the missiles were a flock of angry birds.
The game was developed at a cost less than 100,000 pound where as the movie version has been made for an estimation of $80 million and some $100 million has been set aside for its marketing.
None of the birds in the movie can fly and all live on an island believing they are alone in the world and are secure as the legendary Mighty Eagle is watching over them.
The cast in the movie includes credible comic actors such as Maya Rudolph, Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader.
