Bobby Brown is suing a US magazine over a false report which alleges he was planning to re-marry his ex-wife Whitney Houston shortly before her death.
The former New Edition singer has filed a lawsuit against The National Enquirer over a story published last year in March – six weeks after Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room in Beverly Hills, California.
Brown, 44, who married partner Alicia Etheridge in June (2012), filed the lawsuit at Manhattan Federal Court in New York on Monday.
The report of Bobby’s legal filings follows just a week after he turned himself into police on a drink driving conviction stemming from his October arrest in Los Angeles, California.
He is currently serving a 55-day sentence.
