About two dozen people have been injured in an Improvised explosive device (IED) attack at the Parsons Green station of London Tube railway on Friday and police is treating it as an act of terrorism.

London police has released a press statement saying the cause of fire is subject to investigation and it is in process by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.
However, the statement mentions Commissioner Neil Basu has declared the incident as an act of terrorism.
Basu is the senior national coordinator for counter-terrorism policing.
Newspaper reports the injuries include facial burns from a blast and several hurt in stampede.

With the help of CCTV footage the security sources say they have identified the suspect involved in the attack.
British Prime Minister said, “My thoughts are with those injured at Parsons Green and the emergency services who, once again, are responding swiftly and bravely to a suspected terrorist incident.”
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said, “This is a challenge which we all face.”
