Britney Spears cancels Las Vegas show until further notice

Britney Spears has put on hold her Las Vegas show. It is not clear when she would go for it. Her father Jamie is seriously ill and she wants to devote her time to look for him.

Sharing on social media the mother-of-two said she does not from where to start as it is tough for her to announce not to be performing her new show Domination even though she had been waiting for it all this year.

Britney added, “It’s important to always put your family first… and that’s the decision I had to make. A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died.”

She appreciated the prayers of fans and supporters for her family during the tough time.

About two months her father was rushed to hospital and thereafter emergency surgery following rupture of his colon spotaneously.

Apologizing inconvenience to fans Britney said she is dedicating her energy and focus in the cary of her family.

She had announced the Las Vegas residency last year in October. She opened her Piece of Me residency on 27 December 2013 for two years, but it was extended for another two years amid huge ticket demand. The last show took place on 31 December 2017 and it grossed more than $135 million.

Then Britney said, “I am so happy to be returning to my second home – Las Vegas!… I’m working on a brand-new show and I’m so excited for my fans to see it! It’s going to be so much fun being back on stage and I can’t wait to perform at Park Theater.”
