Britney Spears’ Floral Watercolor Painting Auctioned For $10K

Britney Spears seems to have lately become a professional artist. Her venture into a floral watercolor painting is now a wild success. It is sold for $10,000 at a charity auction on Monday at Las Vegas’ Venetian Hotel.

Longtime host of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” and current entertainment columnist for Las Vegas Review-Journal, Robin Leach, bought the painting of the 35-year-old singer and the proceeds went to VegasCares.

Leach was also an auctioneer during the charity auction event.

The music icon said she is proud calling Vegas her second home and also pleased to take part in the Vegas Cares show. She was influenced by Monet and late-era Van Gogh for her floral painting.

VegasCares is currently raising money to commission an art piece in memory of massacre victims of the city.

Since 2013 the ‘Britney: Piece of Me’ residency has been the singer’s home in Las Vegas. Earlier she had donated $1,000,000 in ticket sales to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation in Las Vegas. She even attended the opening of ‘Britney Spears Campus’ facility over the weekend.

Ahead of the inaugural ceremony the singer said fundraising for the purpose started in 2014 and now she is excited to be standing at the new NCCF (Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation’s) Britney Spears campus.

Spears added they have raised $1 million for the new facility that will support kids and families.

She continued mentioning, “I’m so thankful to everyone for their generosity in making this a reality and making this happen.”
