Can 4K TVs really change the HD experience

According to the TV manufacturers, television sets with 4K resolution will get distinctively a new dimension in the picture quality. Someone who boasts a real 4K video, the one with 3,840×2,160-pixel resolution with just as the 4KTVs, can see all the additional detail.

4K TV is Ultra HD as its 3,840-pixel horizontal resolution is almost 4,000 pixels wide. It is less of a mouthful than 3.84K TV.

The fact is original 4K video sources are still a few, which means most of the people would watch in the old–fashioned ‘regular’ high-def: 1,920×1,080 (1080i or 1080p) or 1,280×720 (720p), and both of those have fewer pixels compared to 4K.

As we can see there is no way we are going to get original 4Kvideo right now, so the question now arise is how a 4K TV can actually improve the picture quality?

The only answer that we can get right at this moment is that a 4K TV is able to improve the picture quality just a little bit.

However, one should not expect more than this. Most of the 4K TVs actually uses a process called ‘up converting’ or ‘up scaling’ to as to covert incoming sources to fit their 4K screens. If this is done properly it can add detail to the image. But to experience this one has to sit too close to the TV, only then one can see the difference.

Well, at the end of the day it is not recommended to sit too close to TV as this may cause some sort of eye problem, surely.
