Charlize Theron revealed she is raising two beautiful daughters even though Jackson, who was adopted in 2012, is a boy.
The 43-year-old said in a recent interview that she thought her daughter was a boy until the child looked at her at the age of three and said: “I am not a boy!”
She welcomed her daughter from a US adoption agency in 2015, two months after separating from fiance Sean Penn.
A year later she said was raising both the children as a single mum.
She then confirmed to have no intention of adopting her son or having more children.
Charlize added that she wants to celebrate and love both the kids as they are.
She said, “So there you go! I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any parent, I want to protect and I want to see thrive.”
She further said both are born who they are and what both want to be is not her decision.
Late last year she said to Michael B. Jordan that her family consists of two beautiful African-American daughters.
In May 2018 she was asked whether it was difficult raising a black son considering the current political climate.
Lately she dismissed claims having romance with fellow single parent Brad Pitt.
A month before her comment it was reported Charlize was seen getting touchy-feely in Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont.
