For the very first time, Daniel Radcliffe finally came out regarding his blood pressure medication at the early age of 25. He just recently revealed that he’s been seeing a doctor to deal with his case in having some headaches for about a couple of years now. The doctor’s advice is that he has indeed have to undergo some blood pressure maintenance medication along with ECG every now and then. This will monitor the rhythm and all electrical activities of his heart. Daniel wants to know the public that despite of this seems to be a serious issue of his health, he would like to address that he is “perfectly fine” as his recent statement during an interview.
Back in 2012, he already has been suffering from a series of headaches that he even needed to stop some production of his work due to this health condition. He was in real pain during those times so it was best that he was put to rest for the span that he was under medication. He told Mirror, “I was in the middle of these weird things called ‘cluster headaches’. It’s very rare evidently, but it’s exceptionally painful. It makes a migraine look quite tame.’ He continues saying, “At the time I thought I was being a wuss. I was taking 12 (strong painkillers) a day and going, ‘Why do I still have a headache?”
And in case you don’t know, he also has a case of mild dyspraxia which is a neurological condition that is pretty common and what it does is that it makes anyone who has it have a trouble when it comes to moving. He also mentioned to the press before that he has been drinking because he was afraid things could affect his career resulting to failure. But then again, he also said he wished he never really brought that issue up. In fact, here’s a piece of advice eh said he would’ve given to himself about the matter, “If I had to give my younger self one piece of advice it would be, don’t talk about that in an interview. Because I’ve answered questions on it for three or four years since. And it’s such an insignificant part of my life that everyone just wants to talk about it.”
It wasn’t easy being famous especially growing up having the brand and image of Harry Potter in his system. He said one time, he and co-star Rupert Grint went to a Reading festival in full on disguise wearing gas masks. He said that he can’t really say if he has missed years of childhood life because so far he has been living his life well.
