Nicole’s father, Tony Kidman, a clinical psychologist at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia, died while paying a visit over the superstar’s sister, Antonia Marran, who lives on Singapore with her husband, and six children. “The police are still investigating his unnatural death”, a spokesperson said. According to the source, the term referred to as “unnatural death” refers to other accidents. Nicole’s rep confirmed that Tony fell in a hotel room but shared to other details. The family is now on a state of shock and is grieving for the unexpected loss, the rep added that privacy is needed to deal with the shock and tragedy.

The authorities said they were informed that a man in his 80s had died at a hospital.

In an interview, vice-chancellor professor Attila Brungs told the press, “During his 43 years at the University of Technology, Sydney, Tony has contributed greatly—as a colleague, as a researcher, and as a health practitioner. Tony will be missed by all at UTS. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.”

Tony also was a clinical psychologist at Royal North Shore Hospital. In ‘05, he was awarded an Order of Australia for his contributions to clinical psychology. The father also was an author of few publications relating to depression and anxiety.
