Drake pays homage to Queen Bey with new track titled ‘Girls Love Beyonce’

Rapper Drake released a new song in the early hours of yesterday morning called Girls love Beyonce were he talks about not being able to find a “good” girl in the music industry and seeing Beyonce as a silhouette and role model for a lady he hopes to find.

He uses a Destiny Childs sample, Beyonce’s former girl group, 2000 hit track ‘Say My Name’ as a hook which features artist James Fauntleroy who sings the catchy chorus in a slow and sultry rendition very opposite to the original upbeat club banger.

Drake is known for making music for the ladies and delivering every time and he definitely has this time.

However since the track was released twitter has been divided on whether they like the track or not.

@_ChillPreme: ‘That Girls Love Beyonce track ain’t all that great that you make it seem, ya’ll just live it cuz of the damn title.’

@youngheartbreak: ‘That new Drake “Girls Love Beyonce” is jamming. Listen to the lyrics. I can identify with them totally. Like he telling my story to the “T”.’

Take a listen to the track and let us know what you think!
