The European Union (EU) leaders have been lately suggested strongly by United Kingdom President Theresa May they have no choice than to agree a trade deal with Brexit Britain.
UK has voted to withdraw itself from EU block and the Article 50 for Brexit is learned to be initiated by early next year. The process could take about two years to complete.
May delivered the statement en route to a summit of world leaders saying agreeing to a trade deal with Brexit Britain is in the interests of the 27 remaining members.
International Trade Secretary Liam Fox supported the defiant blast statement saying far and away the EU has the most to lose if trade deal fails to reach.
Fox added Britain import much more from the bloc than sell to it.
Earlier, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia threatened to veto any Brexit deal unless the UK president guarantees their people right to work in Britain.
Senior bureaucrats who talked to punish Britain for Brexit echoed the same.
May said the 27 countries of EU need to sign up a trade deal with them and she will be negotiating ambitiously to do the most for UK.
The PM added she believes a good deal for UK will also be a good deal for other EU member countries.
Her statement suggests she is confident UK could impose curbs on free movement of migrants.
Last night she also had talks with US business leaders with hopes Britain can prosper even post-Brexit.
