Fatboy Slim recreates words of Greta Thunberg into remix

The iconic climate change speech, ‘right here, right now,’ of Greta Thunberg has now been given a different variant. It has been remixed by Fatboy Slim and it is a shame the teenage activist is once again being mocked in the name of celebration.

The DJ shared a mashup of it lately that was made by someone else based on the call for change by the 16-year-old activist.

Producer Norman Cook showcased the remix live among the crowd at his MainYard event in Gateshead and it was incredible.

One from the crowd shared a clip of the event on social platform and wrote, “It has been brought to my attention that @FatboySlim has mixed @GretaThunberg’s speech into ‘right here, right now’ and it’s incredible.”

Greta Thunberg was a Swedish campaigner at the United Nations conference last month and she blasted at the delegates with tough words for not doing enough to protect the environment.

The teenager said, “You have stolen my dream sand my childhood with your empty words.”

Fatboy Slim’s remix contains several parts of her speech like, “This is all wrong. I shouldn’t be up here… I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean. Yet you have come to us young people for hope. How dare you.”

Her iconic speech further was, “And yet I’m one of the lucky ones… People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing.”
