Google will make Glass available to anyone who wants to purchase a pair for a limited time, beginning Tuesday.
As first reported by The Verge, Google will sell the wearable computing device to anyone willing to pay $1,500.
Buyers will also get a sunglasses shade or one of Google’s newly-introduced prescription glasses frames with their purchase.
In a post on Google+ on Thursday, Google said the number of available headsets is limited, and only U.S. residents will be eligible to make purchases.
The sale is an expansion of Google’s Glass Explorer program, which began back in 2012.
“The Glass Explorer program includes people from all walks of life, including doctors, firefighters and parents,” read a previous statement from Google.
“Anyone can sign up to become a Glass Explorer. The only requirements we have is that he or she is a U.S. resident and over the age of 18.”
The move comes just two days after Google rolled out its new Glass at Work program.
