In an exciting turn of events, the prices for Google’s upcoming Pixel 8, 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2 have been leaked for the UK. This revelation comes right after the US pricing details were unveiled lately.
According to the reliable tech insider Roland Quandt on X (formerly known as Twitter), the base price for the Pixel 8 in the UK will be £699. This represents a noticeable increase compared to the previous Pixel 7, which started at £599. Similarly, the Pixel 8 Pro is set to be priced at £999, up from £849 for its predecessor, the 7 Pro. This price hike aligns with the $100 increase reported for the US market earlier.
This isn’t the first pricing leak for Google’s new devices. Earlier this month, pricing details for Europe (specifically France) were also revealed. In France, the Pixel 8 is expected to start at €799, a jump from the €649 starting price of the Pixel 7. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to be priced at €1,099, up from €899 for the 7 Pro.
The base price for the Pixel Watch 2 smartwatch is said to be £349. This is a modest increase from the current price of £339 for the original Pixel Watch. Additionally, an image of the second-generation Pixel Watch in black has surfaced. Google previously shared an image of the watch in silver, leaving fans eagerly anticipating a glimpse of the gold version.
The Pixel Watch 2 features a unique complication design reminiscent of a speed dial, similar to the updated Fitbit Tiles that some users are already enjoying.
