Newly single Hilary Duff was spotted with her son Luca, 22 months, in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Monday (January 27). The mother-son duo were all smiles as they headed to an appointment in the morning.
Later that same day, the pair had a blast at Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills. The adorable duo had some fun playing with leaves and climbing rocks.
After three years of marriage, Hilary announced earlier this month that she is separating from husband, former NHL player Mike Comrie.
Calling the separation “amicable,” her rep said, “They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other’s lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time.”
In 2010, the New York Post reported that the pair have a prenuptial agreement as Mike’s family is worth $500 million.
“While Duff made her fortune starring as Lizzie McGuire in the hit Disney television series and in PG-rated movies including A Cinderella Story, Comrie is the heir to a fortune in Canada,” it was reported. The NHL star’s father, Bill, founded furniture and appliance retailer The Brick in Edmonton, Alberta.
