HMD Global Oy To Launch Nokia 8 On July 31 In Europe

The stable of HMD Global Oy is all set to launch the flagship Nokia 8 smartphone and if believed to rumors July 31 will be date for European market and the device is to be priced tagged around 589 euros.

The company earlier launched mid-range Nokia 6, budget phone Nokia 5 and the Nokia 3 series mobile devices.

German blog Win Future adds the upcoming Nokia phone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor and 4 GB RAM. It will come in four colour options – Blue, Steel (Silver), Gold-Blue and Gold-Copper combo, and to feature 64GB on-board storage.

Win Future has a good record of revealing upcoming phones and it writes the Nokia 8 will sport a 5.7-inch QHD (2K: 2560x1440p) screen and to be mounted with dual-camera on the back, probably featuring Carl Zeiss lens.

Earlier this month HMD Global Oy had confirmed to have tied up with German optics firm for cameras.

Apart from all these it is also learned the manufacturer is working on three more Nokia-brand phones – ultra high-end Nokia 9, mid-range Nokia 7 and a budget Nokia 2.

Nokia 9 may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 process and to come with QHD resolution screen. It would run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box and to feature a fingerprint scanner too. It may also boasts IP68 water-and-dust resistant certification, 6 GB/8 GB RAM, a 64 GB/128 GB internal memory and an iris scanner, an OZO audio. HMD Global Oy may mount it with a 12MP front camera fuel it with a 3,800mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support.
