Is Apple To Become Victim Of Its Success?

Apple declared the 2015 has been their best ever year even though questions arise for the US economy and China too sees weakness. With this analysts feel the iDevice giant may struggle to come up with new innovations. So, is it finally the downhill of the company from here?

Note, the ramp of Apple began in 2001 with the iPod and the first iPhone in 2007 was revolutionary.

On Tuesday the company announced $53.3bn annual profit over the previous 12 months. It added this is their largest-ever annual profit in corporate history.

Between the period of July and September the iPhone sales grew about a quarter compared to the same period last year. The figure is appreciable as the sales of rivals including LG and Samsung have seen slower sales.

Well, if some analysts may be thinking this may be the peak of Apple and henceforth downhill will be seen, it is not true. The three months from now is the best season for Apple, during the holiday season.

The three months forecast revenue is about $76.5bn. The figure is just a bit of rise on the year before, but profits surely will be beating last year’s $18bn.

Vice president of US research at industry analysts CCS Insight, Geoff Blaber, said Apple will be the victim of its own success even though until now the iPhone sells more than the rival smartphones.

Also, Apple is tagged as the company of iPhone. Its other products seem to be the creation of second company. Apple is viewed as two companies – one that sells iPhones and the other that sells everything else like Apple Watch, iPads, iPods, iTunes downloads, apps, accessories and more.
