Jennifer Lawrence Escapes Plane Crash; Lands Safe After Engine Failure

Private Plane of Jennifer Lawrence made emergency landing on Saturday at around 1:40 p.m. (local time) after both the engines failed.

The Oscar winner was flying from Louisville, Ky., to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. The emergency landing was done at the Buffalo airport in New York.

Lawrence was flying at about 31,000 feet when the engines failed.

Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) spokeswoman said a Beechcraft 400 Beechjet was diverted to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport on Saturday afternoon due to failure in both the engines.

The spokeswoman added two passengers and crew members were on board of the private plane. Names of the passengers were not revealed.

Representative of the “Hunger Games” star said Jennifer Lawrence landed safe and uninjured.

The 26-year-old has also been keeping a low-profile lately and last month she hit headlines after visiting a strip club in Vienna, Austria.

A video footage leaked online showed her dancing with a friend at the club.

The Joy star shared an unapologetic message on Facebook saying no person wants to be reminded that once he or she has tried to dance on a stripper pole and she had been to one of her best friend’s birthdays to have BLAST that night and she had dropped her paranoia guard just for a second for fun.

On comments of fans that she was only wearing a bra at the strip club, the star wrote, “That’s not a bra it’s an Alexander Wang top and I’m not gonna lie. I think my dancing’s pretty good. Even with no core strength.”
