NEW YORK, March 4 (UPI) — Kanye West‘s creative house Donda has partnered with Jay Z’s Roc Nation to manage its music division.
The partnership, announced Monday, will focus on West’s recording brand and his touring ventures.
The “Yeezus” rapper founded Donda in 2009 for a collaboration with fashion house Louis Vuitton. Since then, the company has spurred fashion collaborations between West and brands like Nike and Adidas, for which he has designed several capsule collections.
In 2011, West’s Donda was in charge of creating the packaging and design for Watch The Throne, a tour that promoted the collaborative studio album he recorded with Jay Z.
The full-service entertainment company Roc Nation was founded in 2008 and manages a diverse roster of musicians, writers, producers, music publishers, merchandisers, TV and film producers as well as new business ventures.
