Karen Gillian is wishing to redo some of her performance in the fifth series of the popular Sci-fi show Doctor Who. She had portrayed companion Amy Pond alongside Matt Smith and is well-known too.
The actress said, “I’d go back to the first half of the first series that I did and just redo that acting.”
Karen Gillian added that by now she is more enhanced in her acting and even during those days she was just a wee child.
Talking to Fandom Karen revealed a Doctor Who movie was in the works earlier but later the plans were dropped. It was finalized then Johnny Depp would be the lead star.
She further said that a long time ago there had been talks about Doctor Who movie and Johnny Depp was to portray the doctor in it.
However, she claims that BBC would not like a movie with the title to be made as it is their flagship show.
The actress also feels that such obstacle would not be for a longer time and people can see Doctor Who movie coming up and the 12th series of the sci-fi show is to hit in the new year.
In the new series Jodie Whittaker will be playing the role of the Thirteenth Doctor and the fellow returnees will be Tosin Cole (Ryan), Bradley Walsh (Graham) and Mandip Gil (Yaz).
A teaser of the upcoming Doctor Who was released lately and it revealed guest star Sir Lenny Henry is to be seen in the first episode.
As of now not much is known about the plot of the new series.
