Katie Price has lately revealed her desire to adopt a Nigerian orphan as it is hard to do in Britain. She is currently mother of five and her inspiration comes after meeting a woman in a nail salon.
The 40-year-old said conversation about charities with the woman made her confident to adopt a child from overseas even though she knowing to face possible immigration hurdles.
Rubbishing claims of being bankrupt earlier the former Loose Woman panelist said to have thought initially the woman to be a nurse but learned she looks after an orphanage in Nigeria. Both thereafter talked about charities and disabilities.
Speaking to the Monday’s episode of This Morning the TV personality said to have thought for long of adopting a child from other country as things are not easy in Britain and believes would be successful getting it done.
Katie is learned to be starting the process of adoption soon going to Nigeria.
However, she has not ruled out having her own kids saying, “I still want my own kids as well, don’t get me wrong. I would definitely have more.”
Her children are 16, with ex-footballer Dwight Yorke, Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, with ex-husband Peter Andre and Jett, five, and Bunny, four, with Kieran Hayler.
In a separate interview earlier she said IVA is different from bankruptcy as only one of her companies went down due to issues related to taxes.
Katie said, “So an IVA is just when you arrange voluntary payment to pay it back. Now if I was bankrupt I wouldn’t be able to do that.”
