Katy Perry finally wants to forgive Taylor Swift and bury the hatchet. In an interview over the weekend she said willing to make up with the “Shake It Off” singer.
The two were earlier good friends, but the past three years were highly argutative with several blames on each other through interviews and other platforms.
Perry said, “I think it’s time. There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world.”
During a live stream session, while revealing her new album Witness, Perry said she now has just love for the fellow pop star.
Whether it is coincident or not, but Taylor Swift too released her entire back catalog on the same day and at the same time through multiple streaming services.
When asked about the unexpected incident, Perry said she don’t know and she can only talk about her own fifth studio album release.
She added, “All I need to say to her is I love her, and God bless her on her journey… And that’s it.”
However, many believe the move of Swift was to steal Perry’s thunder.
Meanwhile, a new report adds Swift has dropped from Celebrity Rich List. She topped last year in Forbes’ rating with earnings of $170 million and now has come down to 49th place with earning $126 million.
Swift didn’t release any new music or tour lately, but earned about $44 million from sponsorship with Diet Coke, Apple and Keds.
The new topper this year is rapper and entrepreneur Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
