NASHVILLE, May 20 (UPI) –Kristen Bell will return to host the 2014 CMT Music Awards in Nashville on June 4.
The 33-year-old Frozen star has previously co-hosted the award show with Jason Aldean in 2013 and Toby Keith in 2012, but this year she will take on the role alone for the first time.
“After two years of duets with amazing partners, I’m really excited for my first solo effort,” Bell said of her gig. “I love that the country community has welcomed me so warmly, and I can’t wait to head back to Nashville for what’s sure to be another amazing show this year.”
This year’s CMT Music Awards will include performances by Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert and more.
Fans will be able cast votes for their favorite nominees online and on their phones through June 1.
Bell is best known for her roles in Frozen, Forgetting Sarah Marshal and When In Rome as well as for playing the title character in the Veronica Mars series and the 2014 film.
