“When young people and children especially are exposed to the ever-changing engineering technologies, they develop a fervent interest along with a will to understand more,” , and Noorsphere’s managing partner, Max Polyakov reckons. According to the BestRobofest event planner and host, Max Polyakov, more individuals should be enlightened, regarding contemporary engineering in robotics and technology. Acting on this vision, the innovative leader, decided to hold the official BestRobofest festival, which hosts families and people of all ages and is one of the largest Techno fests on Ukraine.
The first-ever event held by Noosphere in conjunction with Max took place in 2016, and the participation attracted a few thousand attendees, wanting to learn more about robotics, technology, and innovations. There are several enjoyable competitions like the copter race and Robo Sumo make the festival an exciting undertaking.
What are the BestRobofest events?
On this year’s 2-3rd of June, Max Polyakov and the Noosphere Association invited more than 25,000 millennials, consisting of people from as low as 9 years to 41 years old, to participate in a technological and innovative competition offering a real money reward. On the first Technofest attempt at the National Educational Institute For Youth, a total number of 3000 attendees were registered. However, more recent initiatives have seen the number rise to a whopping 25,000.
During the festival, participants and attendees benefited from various sessions scaled by Max, who also participated in the competitive event. From Robo races to scratches, the exhibition lined up great activities to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Other line-ups include RoboSumos, copter races, and freestyles.
Where the festivities were
This two-day event offers technical novelties, workshops, Monster truck battles, and many more. This year’s technology and innovation event will take place at the Bartolomeo Best River Resort in Ukraine. During this period, both parents and children have other family events they can attend but still choose to watch the BestRoboFest event. This shows clearly that the event is on the right path to achieve its goals.
This year’s event featured creations from different people. The art zone was the main highlight where a giant canvas with a vibrant collage from different painters was on display. The copter race was also breathtaking, featuring a drone race with professional drone pilots competing for top prizes. On the RoboSumo ring, a set of robots were brawling, looking to toss each other out. In the Robot race, however, various robots took part in black line racing.
