Miley Cyrus wears a blonde bob wig

Miley Cyrus switched up her hairstyle over the weekend by wearing a cute, short blonde wig at a Christmas festival in Los Angeles.

The pop superstar famously chopped off her long hair in August 2012, but she has since toyed with various other styles, including a purple Lil Kim wig for Halloween and tiny pigtails.

And now she’s at it again, this time trading her usual short pixie cut for a blonde bob wig.

Attending the 24th Annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas festival on Saturday (7 December), Miley rocked her demure bob with a similarly understated outfit.

Instead of sporting her typical risqué wardrobe or a pair of minuscule hot pants, the songstress covered up in a black polo neck and a long black coat.

She took time out of her night to pose for a couple of fun snaps with bands Cage The Elephant and Group Love – and she even kept her tongue inside her mouth!

Miley captioned one of the pictures: “@GROUPLOVE for the first time I’m not the one in the pic grabbin my t*tties! #sluttysantayearround #KROQXMAS”

The 21-year-old has previously expressed that she wants to grow her hair out, so perhaps she was trying out a longer look in preparation?

Less than 24 hours before these new pictures were taken, Miley had attended KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball and styled her hair simply, with the slightly longer section swept over to reveal her buzz cut on the side.

She also bared all in a sparkly red two-piece and proceeded to twerk on Santa Claus later in the evening!
