New parents on the red carpet: Fergie and Josh Duhamel at the 2013 Trevor Project Live event

New parents Fergie and Josh Duhamel looked super smart and loved up last night, as they attended a red carpet event in Hollywood.

The happy couple took an evening off caring for their baby son Axl – who was born in August – and enjoyed the glitzy 2013 Trevor Project Live event, which was held at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday (8 December).

Proving her yummy mummy status once again, 38-year-old Fergie looked fab in a canary yellow Ungaro dress that featured statement shoulder pads and gold buttons running all the way down the centre.

She completed her simple, yet stylish look with a pair of pointed Louboutins and a cream clutch bag.

Her long blonde locks were teased into very loose waves and her makeup was kept nude, apart from a standout set of false lashes and lots of black eyeliner that added some extra oomph to her eyes.

Meanwhile, her actor hubby Josh posed proudly beside his wife in a dapper black suit, with a bright white shirt and a silver tie.

But it seems his best accessory was Fergie, as the pair – who married in 2009 – couldn’t stop smiling at one another and appeared just as smitten as the day they met. Aww!

Also at the star studded Trevor Project Live night were actresses Jane Lynch, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Glee‘s Naya Rivera.

Fergie and Josh have been embracing parenthood in the last few months and haven’t stopped gushing about how much they love their little one.

Last month, the couple shared a hilarious Thanksgiving greeting card with their fans that featured tiny Axl’s face on it.

The 3-month-old also wished his dad Josh a ‘Happy Birthday’ on Twitter via an adorable photo and sweet message on Fergie’s account.

Josh has previously expressed how fun fatherhood is by telling E! News: “”I just recommend it to anybody out there who hasn’t done it.”
