Guillermo Ochoa: Ready to leave French football as a free agent
Guillermo Ochoa is to leave Ajaccio as a free agent in the summer and claims he will consider offers from across Europe.
The Mexico international is ruling nothing out as possible moves to England and Italy are mooted.
Ocho’s agent has already claimed that an approach has been made by AC Milan, while a number of Premier League sides are reported to be closely monitoring the 28-year-old’s situation – with Liverpool among them.
The highly-rated goalkeeper feels the time is right to ‘try elsewhere’ and would welcome the opportunity to test himself in Serie A or the Premier League if the opportunity arises.
Ochoa told Todomercadoweb: “I am evaluating several offers from different countries.
“I have been in France for three years and I like the way in which this league has evolved, but I would also want to try elsewhere.
“At the moment I have no agreements with any team and I am willing to listen to all the proposals to make the best decision possible.
“My agent is dealing with everything and I do not exclude a future in Italy and England.”
