Paris Jackson’s exit from the Dior fashion sow was due to mistreatment of animals during presentation. Tweeting on Tuesday she gave her vesion of the event and her hasty departure on Friday.
The 20-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson added that she didn’t storm out of the show as being talked in media, but she quietly got walked out keeping in mind not to create any unnecessary scene.
She tweeted, “I do not support animals being branded and whipped… (she was) taken by surprise and a little heartbroken.”
People magazine writes the show was “meant to showcase a women’s rodeo.”
It further writes, citing unnamed source, the model-actress was upset the way horses were treated at the event during the presentation.
The source added Jackson was concerned about how the horses were treated during the show meant to showcase a women’s rodeo. She didn’t have disrespect to the brand and loved the collection.
The spring/summer 2019 Cruise collection presentation on May 25 attempted recreating a Mexican rodeo and featured female models performing stunts on horseback. Jackson left the show early and seemed like enjoying the rest part of the evening. She shared a Instagram photo posing in front of a string of lights and captioned it as “left early n did this.”
Dior has not yet officially responded to all such allegations.
It is alleged the all-female models were riding side-saddle so to use crop and keep the horses go straight.
