It was June 5 that paramedics rushed to Katherine’s Calabasas address and found the teen in serious distress.
They were responding to a call saying Paris had downed 20 pills and slashed her arm with a kitchen knife, according to a 911 dispatch recording obtained by Entertainment Magazine.
Paris was suffering from severe depression over the 2009 loss of dad Michael Jackson and also felt bullied online, sources told editors at Emag.co.uk at the time.
“Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family’s privacy,” Katherine’s lawyer Perry Sanders said in a June statement regarding Paris’ hospitalization.
