Prince William and Kate Middleton are well prepared to welcome their third child, who will be fifth in line to the British throne. The other four are grandfather Prince Charles, father William and elder siblings George, 4, and Charlotte, 2.
The Duchess is learned to have canceled an engagement on Monday due to severe morning sickness.
The 91-ear-old Queen Elizabeth said she is delighted to learn the prince and princess are expecting their third child. Members of both the families too are similarly delighted after getting the news.
In recent years the monarchy has also been widely supported by the people due to popularity of William, Kate and William’s brother Harry.
Let’s look at the official announcement. The Kensington Palace said, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.”
However, the announcement didn’t include when the couple is expecting their next baby.
The Duke and Duchess married in 2011 and two years later they welcomed their first child George and again two years later the girl child Charlotte was born.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Theresa May said the news is fantastic and many congratulations to the couple.
Lately the couple was also in news for remembering mother Princess Diana, who died two decades ago in a car crash in French capital Paris.
Harry too was in news last week after visiting a center supporting people in Manchester affected by the bombing at an Ariana Grande concert this May.
