Resident Evil 2 remake

Resident Evil 2 remake releasing Jan 25, Friday

The Resident Evil 2 remake is scheduled to be released on January 25, Friday, and lately the creators are talking more and more about it.

Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and director Kazunori Kadoi revealed during an event in Dubai that campaign for each hero to last about ten hours each.

The two said gamers can play either as Claire Redfield or Leon S. Kennedy just like the original and to some extent several elements are same.

However, some brand new elements have been added like in the section where gamers can play as the young Sherry Birkin.

Some of the elements will be seen in longer cut scenes while others may be with larger versions of existing areas.

It is also learned that Tofu and HUNK will be seen in the game and both to get expanded versions of their campaigns compared to the original game.

The two need to be unlocked before gamers play and at the beginning the two will be missing.

This means gamers will get value for money. As per the demo, named as I-Shot Demo, it is clear the game to indeed have quality.

Capcom press statement reads, “If players complete the mission objective under 30 minutes, they can restart the mission until they use up their full time.”

The producer and director were asked whether there will be Resident Evil 3 on card in near future, but the two declined to answer.

However, both had earlier hinted about the third version of the game.
