Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony Widened Lens Of Brazil

After sixteen days of high-end sporting events the Rio 2016 Olympic Games have come to an end with spectacular closing ceremony that was revelatory as well as a sigh of relief.

The South America’s first Olympics are over safely and Brazil giving a message to the world they knows how to party.

International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach said, “These were marvelous Olympic Games in the ‘marvelous city.”

However the jam-packed iconic Maracana Stadium turned to sadness when Bach announced, “I declare the Games of the XXXI Olympiad closed.”

The closing ceremony also widened its lens to greater Brazil. Tribute was given to cave paintings and Samba legend Martinho da Vila sang “Carinhoso.”
