The new winner of X Factor 2018 is Dalton Harris

The winner of X Factor 2018 is Dalton Harris. Out of stiff competition he topped defeating Anthony Russell and Scarlett Lee.

Dermot O’Leary won his first X Factor series as a judge and on the win of Dalton Harris he said the 24-year-old is a true professional as well as a real winner throughout.

Harris turned emotional winning the crown and simply said, “I just won the X Factor.”

The winning single of Harris, The Power of Love, will go into charts and it is to see whether the song turns out to be Christmas number one. If not, it will definitely be in the top 10 for some time.

Harris performed The Power of Love with James Arthur, who won X Factor 2012 without getting much homecoming that he looked for due to some technical difficulties that hampered the song.

James Arthur appeared with Anne Marie and received good ovation from judges Louis, Simon Cowell, Robbie Williams and Ayda Field. However, viewers at home questioned the vocals.

The Say You Won’t Let Go singer explained what went wrong on Twitter saying it wasn’t the version they wanted to hear.

He tweeted, “Thanks for the nice comments about mine and @AnneMarie performance.”

James further said it was not known why they had crowd mics blaring throughout and it was not the mix they would have liked to hear on X Factor.

Anne Marie meanwhile said, “Thank you for your LOVELY comments about our performance on #xfactor I was NERVOUSSSSSSSS.”

In the final weekend the X Factor 2018 fans saw several famous faces including Leona Lewis, Emile Sande and X Factor judge Robbie Williams.
