At Tory Conference May To Prove Brexit Means Brexit

This Sunday British Prime Minister Theresa May will definitely prove Brexit means Brexit. At the Tory conference in Birmingham she may announce the Government intends repeating European Communities Act 1972 (ECA) via a Great Repeal Bill.

By the act May will try to explain there would not be the end of Britain’s membership of European Union (EU), but part of withdrawal mechanics.

It is better to note here that Repeal of the ECA means Brexit is happening and if anyone thinks of using the process for the stop of Brexit through the Commons or Lords, the delusion needs to be cast aside.

Late last month EU President warned May to accept right of citizen to work in United Kingdom to retain the access to single market.

The leaders, Robert Fico and Bouslav Sobotka respectively, met in the Slovak capital Bratislava and said it is not imaginable the EU citizens would not be equally treated post Brexit.

The statement of Fico came after earlier warning from Downing Street that post Brexit London would be able to have control on people migrating to UK from EU.

May’s spokesman later indicated the PM is in favor of immigration control saying, “Following Brexit we will be able to control the number of people coming to Britain from the EU – she’s made that point at the G20, and she has made it elsewhere.”

In mid-September May said EU members have no choice rather than to agree trade deal with them.

UK has voted to withdraw itself from EU block and the Article 50 for Brexit is learned to be initiated by early next year. The process could take about two years to complete.
