Website Created Allowing People To Slap Bollywood’s Top Star Aamir Khan

Bollywood’s one of the top stars, Aamir Khan, has been seriously criticized over social media for his comment India is undergoing through a climate of intolerance.

The Islam following actor was asked last month at Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards to comment of the returning of national awards by dozens of writers protesting rise in sectarian tensions in the country.

Aamir replied his wife Kiran, a Hindu religion following lady, fears for her child being in India and also feels scared to open newspapers due to growing disquiet.

Following the comments the Satyamev Jayate host started trending on Twitter with tons of critics. He is also being criticized by others from Bollywood including notable Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon and Ashoke Pandit.

Meanwhile, two students from Miami Ad School have become popular for their website SlapAamir.com on which visitors are allowed to slap the Muslim actor for being blasphemy and anti-national. A hand appears on the screen to whack the actor after moving cursor.

The two creators, Himanish Ashar and Dhvani Shah, said they are not into the debate whether the actor deserves it or not, but they thought of trolling the incident in the best possible way.

The idea is appealing and encourages people to virtually slap Aamir. The site claims to have got more than 8 million slaps in just over 15 hours. Most of the slapped him in anger and the rest understood the sarcasm in the concept.

A second version of the same has also been created by the two students and they claim the actor has been kissed 3 million times in just 8 hours.
