In one of her intrviews about two year back Meghan said she was conscious of what to eat while being on her film shoots and tries to eat vegan during the week and keep herself balance by eating non-veg over the weekends.
The wife of Harry is also careful about her diet as she is a beast in the gym. She had earlier said, “I feel that the second you do that is when you start to binge on things. It’s not a diet; it’s lifestyle eating.”
This mean Meghan is not completely a vegan, but is considered in a category that follows more plant-based diet or a flexitarian diet.
Many people follows the same diet. They are not completely vegans, but believes in a moderate step towards lifestyle, which is gaining popularity lately. It has health benefits and the diet is nearly vegan and so increases the intake of whole-plant foods such as tofu, oats, berries, lentils, beans, green leafies, flaxseeds and almonds.
However, in the case of Meghan it is not clear now what she eats on her off days. But it is true she has swapped meat-heavy faves for plant-based versions.
She has earlier suggested others to follow the nearly vegan lifestyle by starting with one meat-free day a week and gradually adding more days.
Vegan followers says plan the meals around plants like curried lentils with quinoa and tomato soup.
Experts suggests to do such things that one enjoy within reason.
