Mattia Destro: Keen to stay at Roma
Roma forward Mattia Destro has no intention of leaving the Eternal City club in the near future, according to his agent.
The 23-year-old, who is currently training with Italy in preparation for the World Cup, is a reported target of Arsenal and Inter Milan.
However, Destro’s agent Renzo Contratto said to Asradioroma.it: “When a player is sought after by other teams it is always a pleasure. This does not mean though that he will leave.
“Mattia wants to stay in Rome and have a starring role with the Giallorossi in both Serie A and the Champions League.”
Destro, who scored 13 goals in 20 appearances this season to help Roma finish runners-up in Serie A, joined the Giallorossi in 2012 from Siena and has three years left on his contract.
